Astrobot Apocalypse, as seen at Arcata’s Theatre Lounge during Sci-Fi Pizza & Pint Night a while back. (Speaking of ATL, did you know you can get magic ATL money on a card? Great stocking stuffer.)
From The Astrobots’ Facebook page:
The Astrobots were built to serve man. On August 27, 2027, humanity’s children rebelled. Billions of human lives were lost in the nuclear holocaust, the beginning of the invasion. Those who survived went on to face an even worse nightmare- the war with the machines.
Fifty years later, only a small pocket of resistance remains in the most rural portions of the world. They fight a losing battle against extinction in the Astrobot Apocalypse.
Humboldt County makes a great location for a rural outpost of human resistance, and this flick is pretty funny, too. Watch it!
